As part of the doctoral training program, Rother’s team enabled me to offer a highly professional series of courses for my team at Ruhr University Bochum. The topics prepared the doctoral students for life after their doctorate. The efficient and highly professional collaboration with Rother’s team made it possible to bridge the gap between academic training and the career in industry that typically follows. This primarily benefits the doctoral students, but it also enables the university to enhance the quality of its doctoral graduates. Looking back on the long-standing collaboration with Rother’s team and the successful completion of doctoral degrees by 8 doctoral candidates, I can only recommend such a collaboration to every university.
